Spire Homes Family Fun day
Spire Homes and their tenants enjoyed a Fun Day in Uppingham on
Saturday 17th July. The day was organised as a fun
get-together for Spire Homes’ tenants as well as an opportunity to
talk to Spire Homes about improvement plans.
There was an excellent turn out with over 200
families enjoying the day’s activities. Tenants were able to take
advantage of the excellent weather to enjoy a variety of sports;
including football and cricket as well as a Bouncy Castle and
Mega-Slide.
There was a stall for the Guide Dogs for the Blind, which showed
the importance of Guide Dogs, their training and how they help
visually impaired members within the community.
As well as
talking about planned improvements Spire Homes’ staff were on hand
to answer any questions about the housing service and give general
housing advice and information.

Charlotte Holley, Tenant Participation Officer said “It was a
fantastic day. Everyone had loads of fun, and it was a great
opportunity to talk to and get feedback from tenants about
the services we provide them.”
Mrs June Smith, from Ketton won the grand
prize of £200 shopping vouchers.
