• Spire gets the big Green Apple
  Spire Homes have been awarded with the Green Apple Award for Environmental Best Practice for their homes at Seaton Road in Uppingham.
• Tenants happy with improvements
  Spire Homes have kept their promise to invest £20million to improve homes across Rutland. A five year schedule is in place to improve tenant’s bathrooms and kitchens, externals and fencing; and Spire are on target!
• Spire's Dancing Queen
  Julie Cutts, community warden at Spire Homes’ Beckworth Court in Empingham dressed as a 1970s dancing queen from 28th June to 2nd July.
• Spire Homes family fun day
  Spire Homes and their tenants enjoyed a Fun Day in Uppingham on Saturday 17th July. The day was organised as a fun get-together for Spire Homes’ tenants as well as an opportunity to talk to Spire Homes about improvement plans.
• Strictly Come Dancing at Carver Court
  Everyone gathered to enjoy a night of entertainment and fun with The Ketton Dollies Line dancing team and an exotic performance from Spalding’s Pharaoh Daughters. The evening was arranged by Teresa McLean, Spire Homes’ Housing support worker.
• A Hidden Gem
  The Underground Children’s and Youth Centre in Kings Cliffe is one of the hidden gems within the local area – that’s why Spire Homes have awarded them a £15,000 grant.
• Tower Boot factory transformed to provide 31 new homes
  A listed building and home to a former boot factory has been dramatically transformed to provide 31 new homes. A celebration to mark their completion was held on 16th June for Spire Homes and guests.
• Spire Homes are Decent Homes – Ahead of the Government deadline
  Spire Homes are well ahead of schedule to meet the Government’s Decent Homes standard. At the end of March, 100% of their homes throughout East Northamptonshire have achieved this standard – 9 months ahead of the Government deadline of December 2010.
• Code of Practice for Supported Housing
  Spire Homes are delighted that their services for Supported Housing in East Northamptonshire and Rutland have achieved the Code of Practice.
• Over quarter million spent on improving local sheltered scheme
  Spire Homes and Wellingborough Homes’ tenants joined forces on 8th June to celebrate the National Housing Federation’s Supported Housing month and the grand opening of Spire’s newly refurbished scheme, Cordwainers in Rushden.
